I WANT TO BE...

YOUR BIGGEST FAN

Home: Welcome

MY STORY

I am 38 years old and a mother of 2. I want to share a secret with you…. I have ALWAYS hated exercise. Friends of mine laugh at how committed I am to exercise now because of what they have witnessed in the past. I would do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to avoid it.

A few years ago, I found myself in a rough place in life. I was overwhelmed, always fatigued, lacked mental clarity and focus and even depressed. I would see myself not giving my best to those closest to me - my kids and my husband were the most affected. I wasn’t excelling in any area of my life. Felt like I couldn’t ever keep up and many times didn’t even want to get out of bed. I was going through the motions and rarely was present.

I hated who I was and how I had allowed myself to get there. Many on the outside looking in would say I was “healthy” mainly because most people define “healthy” as a size 2. Although I was small, I was extremely unhealthy. I could maintain my small size, but my eating habits were horrible. I would go from one sugar crash to the next, barely surviving on sugar highs and carbohydrates. I was slowly killing myself, my purpose, and my opportunities.

Years ago I heard the statement, “HATE is the greatest motivator of change. You won’t actually change until you HATE it.” I finally got to the point where I really hated how I felt and who I was. This couldn’t be it. This couldn’t be how God designed my life to be, just cycling through my days over and over and over again. As much as I hated working out and even eating right, I hated EVEN more how I felt and who was looking back at me in the mirror. This is where change happened for me.

I realized that I may not be in control of a lot of things in my life, but I DO have control over what I do with my body and what I put into it. I made an intentional choice to not just start, but commit to actually fueling my body for what would make it function at optimal performance. I was skeptical at first, but I threw myself wholeheartedly into committing to fueling my body (fitness and nutrition) for 6 weeks and then I would evaluate how I felt.

The results were nothing that I had expected. For me, my goal was being healthy.

I didn’t realize until I looked back on my life that I was slowly killing myself with my unhealthy patterns and behaviors. Too many of us settle for mediocre, yet all of us have potential, possibility and excellence at our fingertips. I want to be the best version of myself - the mom, wife, leader, friend, coworker, etc. I don’t want to live from survival mode to survival mode. True change began to happen for me when I focused on the internal, and the external soon became a sustainable byproduct.

My goal of being the healthiest version of myself has helped me to not only function in my personal excellence, but here are some of the side effects/byproducts of this goal: mental clarity, focus, fat loss, muscle tone, clearer skin, hormonal period changes, less stress, overall better version of myself for others around me, regular bathroom habits (yes, I’m talking about poop!), not having a heavy gut, and so much more.

I’m excited to cheer you on during this process towards becoming the best version of yourself.

This commitment is not easy but I promise it’ll be worth it!

WHY JOIN?

Fads/Programs/Plans Galore!

We live in a day and age where we have access to programs galore! Food fads, recipes, healthy living volumes 1-1000, workout programs, tips, tricks and more! We are inundated with information! Unfortunately, many of the programs/fads people try are NOT sustainable for a lifestyle and thus...

  • When most people stop doing that program, they haven’t trained themselves in a new lifestyle (more of a check the box to hit a goal or number on a scale)

  • The majority of people end up gaining all the weight back and are back to where they started, or even sometimes worse!

  • Many struggle to fully commit and follow through with plans they start and end up feeling overwhelmed, unsuccessful and defeated.

Can you relate to any of this?

The reality is, a fad or a program only works as long as you work it. Read that again.

Let’s be honest, this is where most people drop the ball. They don’t have the commitment, consistency, and discipline to work the program. By joining the program, you can receive the Accountability you need to finally make a sustainable, effective, lifestyle change.

YOU CANNOT DO SAME AND EXPECT DIFFERENT.

If you continue to do the same things/patterns/lifestyle/eating that you always do, you will have the same result.

IF YOU WANT DIFFERENT, YOU HAVE TO DO DIFFERENT. Not just once, not just for six weeks, it’s a lifestyle of DIFFERENT. â€‹

That’s where I come in. I want to help empower you to learn how to DO DIFFERENT long term.
